NSPCC’s PANTS – As part of the Preventative Curriculum all classes will use the NCPCC PANTS resources this term to deliver the important message of staying safe. Please click HERE to see attached letter for more information. Primary 6 and 7 girls have been given a letter regarding a ‘growing & changing ‘ talk. Please complete and return the reply slip by tomorrow Friday 1st March.
Logon Passwords – All pupils within the school have had their password changed this week. C2K prompts this three times a year and unfortunately it is unavoidable. Your child’s new password will be in your child’s reading record. Primary 1 and Primary 2 passwords have been changed to spring24.
Ear Piercing – Pupils who have had their ears pierced should only have in stud earrings whilst in school. Hoops and ‘dangly’ earrings are not permitted as there is a danger of these catching during playtime activities and causing injury to your child.
School Photographer – The School Photographer will be at Broadbridge Primary School on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th March to take individual photographs of all pupils from Primary 2-Primary 7 and family photographs of all pupils from Primary 1-Primary 7. Photographs will be sent out once taken. You are under no obligation to purchase these. Contact the school office tomorrow, Friday 1st March if you do not want the photographs taken. Primary 7 will be photographed in Confirmation Clothes, in Uniform and in Class Groups.
School Choir – The school choir are performing at the Confirmation Ceremony on Saturday 2nd March at 11:00 a.m. All choir children attending have been given a separate note.
Upcoming Events
World Book Day – The school will celebrate ‘World Book Day’ on Thursday 7th March. This gives you plenty of time to swap/borrow/make costumes if you so wish. If you have not already bought or made a costume, children will also be given the opportunity to simply come into school in comfy clothes and read.
Boys’ Football Competition – The school will be hosting a football tournament on Friday 8th March with 10 schools participating from the Derry area.
P2 Grandparents Day – Primary 2 pupils will be putting on a special performance for grandparents on Friday 15th March at 9:45 a.m. in the Master’s Hall. Primary 2 children have received a note in relation to this.
In the Community
Broadbridge Ladies Netball – Thursday 29th February at Broadbridge Primary School in the Master’s Hall from 7:30- 9:00 p.m. All ladies 18+ are welcome to join. Cost £3.
