Easter Holidays – The school will close tomorrow Thursday 6th April for the Easter Holidays. Classes will be dismissed at 12:00 noon. Children walking home, Paschal’s Bus and those crossing the ‘Blue Bridge’ will leave school at 11:45 a.m. to minimise congestion outside the school. Please be careful where you park, do not block access to nearby houses. School will reopen on Monday 17th April for all pupils.

Mr Logue’s Amazing Raffle – Mr Logue’s annual Easter draw in aid of Trócaire will take place on Thursday 6th April. Tickets are available in school 25p each or 5 for £1. Good luck to everyone!

Non-Uniform Day – Tomorrow is non-uniform day, pupils are asked to pay £1 towards the Trócaire collection, in return they will receive 5 tickets for the raffle.

Primary 4 Holy Communion – The primary 4 pupils continue with their work and rehearsals in school for receiving the sacrament of Holy Communion. Please make the extra effort and ensure that your child attends mass on a weekly basis in preparation for receiving the Eucharist at their Holy Communion ceremony on Saturday 29th April.

Child Protection & Safeguarding Policy – Any family who did not receive a trifold summary of our Child Protection & safeguarding Policy.  Please contact the school office and we will send you one out.

Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel 2023 – Well done to everyone who took part in the Big Walk & Wheel 2023. We had a total of 1500 journeys recorded. The winning class with the most journeys made was Mrs Harkin’s Primary 3 class. Well done Primary 3! We would encourage as many children to walk to and from school as the weather gets better in our last term. If your child is walking to school, please ensure that they wear a high viz vest at all times and they are made aware of the proper places to cross the roads on their route to/from school.

School Disco – Thanks to the Parents & Friends’ Association and staff for organising and attending the ‘Easter Disco’ on Saturday 1st April, a special word of thanks to those parents who volunteered for the first time. Thanks to DJ Gabriel for once again making the evening an enjoyable and memorable night for all.

Birthday Parties –Parents are reminded that the school plays no part in the delivery of invitations for children’s birthday parties during the school day. May we please ask that as you plan your child’s birthday party to take into consideration the feelings of that one boy/girl who has been omitted from the party!
