New Entrants – Primary 1 – September 2022 – The application process for those children due to start school in September 2023 opened on 10th January 2023 and closes on the 27th January 2023. Children born between 2nd July 2018 and 1st July 2019 (inclusive) must commence primary education in September 2023. Any family who is new to our school and is considering sending their child to Broadbridge Primary School, please contact the school office and we will inform you of arrangements in place for viewing. If you know of any family that have a child due to start Primary 1 in September 2023, please pass on this information.
Please Note : The school day for all children starts promptly at 9:00 a.m. All pupils arriving after this time must report to the school office.
Accelerated Reading – A new term for Accelerated reading has started for our pupils. Targets have been set by teachers for your child to meet. Please encourage your child to participate fully in all reading activities and complete the tests linked to the book. You can follow your child’s progress at home.
Cross-Country Team – The cross-country training for the Flahavan’s cross country team resumes next Wednesday and Friday morning 8:15-8:45 a.m. Team will race at Oakgrove College on Friday 20th January.
Broadbridge Parents & Friends Association – The AGM of the Parents & Friends Association will take place on Thursday 26th January 2023 at 8.00 pm, all welcome.
Pick up in the Afternoons – We have had a number of complaints from residents in close proximity to the school having access to their homes blocked in the afternoons. Please do not block the residents right of way to their homes. Please do not block the entrance/exit to the local business’ in the area.
Netball NI – Netball NI are hosting a Fun Day of Netball on Saturday 21st January in the Foyle Arena, for P4-P7 girls, more details will follow on Google Classroom.
