Morning Club – 8:00-8:45 (£1 PER CHILD)
2-3 PM Club – 2:00-3:00 (£2 PER CHILD)
Afterschool Club – 3:00-4:15 (£3 PER CHILD)

PLEASE NOTE:  ALL CLUBS MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE ON THE PARENTPAY APP. Morning Club does open until 8:00 a.m. Please do not drop off your child before this time as there is no supervision available.

 

Afterschool Provision – The school will print a register every day of the children booked in for 2-3 & Afterschool clubs. All bookings for these clubs must be made before 8:45 a.m. on the day that your child/ren is due to attend. If you miss this cut off time or pick up arrangements for the day change, your child may still attend however we would appreciate a call to the school office to make us aware of these changes. (This is not required if your child is fully aware of where they need to go after school. But if this is a change to your child’s normal routine or they are in Foundation or KS1 you may wish to do so as a precautionary measure.)

Open Night – The school will be open for all new prospective pupils and parents on Wednesday 14th December from 6:00 -7:00 p.m. Come along and meet the pupils and staff and see what Broadbridge Primary School can offer you. If this date is not suitable, please contact the school office and we will accommodate you at a later date. Please spread the word to family and friends. Thank you.

 

Scarlet Fever – The school issued guidance in relation to Invasive Group A streptococcal disease (Scarlet Fever) We have once again attached the advice given by the PHA. Teaching staff have also been given additional information on signs and symptons to be aware of. Lost Property – The Lost Property will be displayed next Thursday 15th & Friday 16th for Pupils and Parents to view in the mornings and afternoons. All property that is unclaimed after these dates is free for people to take as it will be going to the charity shop otherwise.  Please label all clothing that children wear in school, it enables us to return to the rightful owner.

 

Thank you Julie! – Thanks to Julie Mc Laughlin for the brilliant piece of Nativity Artwork which was created using the pictures of all the children in the school. It will be on display at the school and at the chapel for the Nativity.

 

Indoor Football Competition- The school will be participating in an indoor football competition with local schools on Thursday 15th December at Campsie Indoor.

 

Cross-Country – Good luck to our Cross-Country team at the Second Round of the Flahavan’s Cross-Country League on Friday 16th December at Oakgrove College. Team are training Tuesday & Wednesday Morning at 8:15 a.m.

 

Choir – The choir will be performing at our open night on Wednesday 14th and at our Nativity on 18th December. They have been given a separate note.

 

Christmas Bingo – To get you all in the festive spirit the Parents & Friends’ Association are hosting Christmas Bingo on Sunday 11th Dec in the ‘Master’s Hall’. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with eyes down at 7:00 p.m. A fantastic range of prizes and cash are up for grabs, sponsored by our local businesses. Final House Snowball £500! In 45 numbers. Books are only £10 each. Why not come along and join us for a night’s craic! (16 + No children please)

 

Winter Wonderland ‘Drive Thru’ Thanks to all who attended the Winter Wonderland ‘Drive Thru’ event on Friday 2nd December 2022. Thanks to all the members of The Parents & Friends’ Association for making this possible and of course a massive thank you to Santa and his band of elves. Letters have all been taken back to the North Pole.

 

Saint Vincent De Paul – We are still awaiting some books to be returned to the school. Please return on Monday at the latest. Draw takes place on Friday 16th December.

 

Shared Education – The Primary 5A Christmas Concert with Project Sparks as part of their Shared Education project today was fantastic. There will be snippets on Facebook and Google Classroom for all to view.

‘Broadbridge does the Santa run.’ Well done to all who completed the Daily Mile Santa Run on Friday 2nd December.  We really embraced that festive feeling! Please keep at the walking children, remember to wear a high viz vest when doing so. If you haven’t got a high-viz vest, tell your teacher.

 

Ladies Netball – Broadbridge Ladies Netball tonight Thursday 8th December at Broadbridge Primary School in the Master’s Hall at 7:30- 9:00 p.m.  All ladies 18+ are welcome to join.  Cost £3.  (Next week 15th December will be last week before Christmas break.)
