Children doing Extra-Curricular activities outside must have a change of footwear in case the venue changes due to weather conditions.  It is really important that children are dressed appropriately.  Cross-Country pupils should bring a waterproof coat.

COVID in School – If your child displays symptoms of COVID, keep them at home and do a Lateral Flow test.  If your child is tested for COVID, please forward a copy of the result of the PCR/Lateral Flow test to the school office.  If a positive result is returned, please contact the school office for further guidance.  If a child tests positive in any class, an email will be sent out to the parents/guardians of pupils in that class.

The guidance has changed; you DO NOT keep your child off school (Unless your child has tested positive!), an updated information email will be sent out if there is a positive case in your child’s class.

School Choir – The school choir is up and running again after a long break.  They will meet each Wednesday from 3:00-4:15 p.m. in the small hall.  It is important that all choir members attend these practice sessions in preparation for the School Show and First Holy Communion.

P1 Health Clinic – Please ensure that all forms for the P1 Health Clinic are returned to school by tomorrow at the latest.

Getting Home Arrangements – Please make sure that all children know exactly how they are getting home each day to reduce the number of calls needing to be made home.

P2 Cloakroom – Please only send in the ‘Book Bags’ with your child, unfortunately we do not have the storage facilities available in the P2 Mobiles for school bags.  Thank you.

Diosesean Rosary Initiative – Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Friday, March 25, entrusting the nations to Mary’s help and protection.  The Pope has asked all the bishops — and indeed all the faithful of the entire world — to join him.  As part of this initiative the children will be taking part in a decade of the Rosary tomorrow.

Big Walk and Wheel!!! – Big Walk and Wheel Week 1 has been a huge success!  Well done to everyone involved, there has been a huge difference in the volume of traffic in the morning and afternoons as a result of so many pupils walking/scooting/cycling.

Label Clothing – We have an ever increasing number of items of clothing gathering in the school lost property section as the clothing is not labelled.  Please label all clothing clearly so that we may return the items to the rightful owners!

Ladies Netball – Ladies Netball tonight Thursday in Broadbridge Primary School from 8.00-9.00 pm in the Master’s Hall.  All ladies 18+ are welcome to join.  Cost £3.00.
