Diary:

COVID-19 Update – Parents are reminded that the school must be contacted if there is a positive case in your household.  Please ring 7181 0520 or email info@broadbridgeprimaryschool.com stating your child/ren’s class and a brief outline of the case.

Adults are reminded that they must maintain a social distance at the gates of the school.  We would encourage the use of masks at these points due to the large gatherings at any one time!

Extra-Curricular Activities

* Please note: netball is finished for the year.

Confirmation Practice – This will take place on Monday at 6:00 p.m. Star of The Sea. Please note that the numbers attending this are limited to the pupil being confirmed and one adult.

First Communion and Confirmation Ceremonies- All children making their First Communion and Confirmation will receive a separate note outlining seating arrangements and measures that have been put in place for everyone’s safety at these ceremonies. Please read the guidelines and follow them if you are attending. Thank you.

School Reports – Your child’s annual school report will be sent out today or tomorrow depending on the timetable of events for the class. There is only one report, there is no need to return it to the school. If you wish to talk to the your child’s teacher contact the school office or email the school info@broadbridgeprimaryschool.com  . The teacher will contact you Tuesday/Wednesday of next week.

Parents’ Classes – Week 6 of Parents’ classes for the parents of Primary 6 pupils preparing for the transfer test continue tonight at 8:00 p.m. Tonight is the last week of the parents’ classes. Thank you to all the parents who have attended over the last 6 weeks either in person or by zoom and to Mr Logue and Mrs Bradley for hosting the classes.  You will receive your school report on Monday if your child wishes to talk to a teacher regarding your progress, they may make an appointment at the school office!🤣🤣🤣🤣

Green Flag Award – Congratulations to all who assisted in any way – staff, pupils, parents and not forgetting our caretaker, in helping the school successfully attain the much coveted Eco-Schools Green Flag award. This is the first time we have achieved this and it’s thanks to our school eco team for guiding us in attaining our environmental targets. Well done everyone.
