This week’s Newsletter
Broadbridge Primary School Thursday 22nd April 2021 Note 23
Diary: School Holidays – The school will be closed from the 17th May -21st May. Both dates inclusive.
COVID-19 Update – Parents are reminded that the school must be contacted if there is a positive case in your household. Please ring 7181 0520 or email info@broadbridgeprimaryschool.com stating your child/ren’s class and a brief outline of the case.
Adults are reminded that they must maintain a social distance at the gates of the school. We would encourage the use of masks at these points due to the large gatherings at any one time!
Extra-Curricular Activities
Day | Activity | Time & Venue | Note |
Thu 29th April | Gaelic P4,5,6,7 | 3:00-4:15 At School | All Sessions outdoors.
Be prepared for wet weather! |
Pupils must be booked (Before 8:45 a.m. on day of activity) through ParentPay in order to attend. Cost £2:00 per child |
Google Classroom Login – All pupils please check that you can still access your Google Classroom account. If you have any difficulties, please contact the class teacher and this will be resolved as soon as possible.
Big Pedal – We have had a fantastic turnout for the Big Pedal event that continues until Friday of next week. We have noticed the huge reduction in traffic flow as a result of this. Once again we would encourage our older children to make their own way to and from school especially in the better weather. The weekly tally for the class competition will be published tomorrow, therefore it is never too late to join in. Don’t forget the results for the competition are based on the best five days!
Yellow Jackets – Please check for any yellow jackets that are left at home. We would prefer that your child wears these on their journey to and from school if travelling by any means other than car!
P6 Transfer Meeting – Primary 6 parents are invited to a Transfer Meeting Tonight Via Zoom. Information on how to access this meeting has been emailed and sent home with your child.
Swimming Money refund – Unfortunately the swimming money refund cannot be credited to your ParentPay account as had been hoped. We have started withdrawing money from the bank to repay all money owed. As we return the money to your child we will send a text to inform you of the repayment. Alternatively, you may arrange to pick the money up in person, please contact the office the day before you intend to come in and collect to ensure that it is ready for you when you arrive. All money will be refunded before the end of next week. Thank you for you continued patience.
Earth Day – Please see the information below on Earth Day 22nd April. Pupils have been asked to say no to plastic tomorrow. We are hoping to measure the impact that we would have on the environment if we all said no to plastic on a daily basis.
Child Health Forms P1 & P2 – Please sign and return to school as soon as possible.
Nessy Forms – Some pupils have been sent out Nessy forms please sign and return.
