School Diary:  Friday 28th June – School closes 12 noon – please ensure your child knows how                                                                    they are getting home.

Monday 2nd September – School opens for all pupils at 8:45 a.m. for 9:00 a.m. start.

SCHOOL PROVISION CLUB COST
Fri 28th June Morning Club – 8:00-8:45 (£1 PER CHILD)
PLEASE NOTE:  ALL CLUBS MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE ON THE PARENTPAY APP

There will be no 2:00-3:00 Club nor 3:00- 4:15 Afterschool Club on Friday 28th June.

 

Children Going Home on Friday 28th June for Summer Holiday – Parents are asked to ensure that the children know how they are travelling home tomorrow, particularly if there is a change to the normal routine.  Walkers, Yellow bus children and those going across the ‘Blue Bridge’ will leave at 11:45 a.m. Children getting picked up by car will leave at 12:00 noon. Please drive slowly and with care as you approach the school as there will be a lot of excited children about.

Cloakrooms – Children are reminded to take all belongings from the cloakrooms tomorrow before going home, coats, spare clothes and trainers need to be taken home.

 

School Books – Please return all school and library books before the end of term.  This is extremely important as they are needed for next year’s classes.

 

ParentPay – Please ensure that all payments for outstanding items on the ParentPay system are made before the end of the school year so that the year 2023-24 can be closed off. Thank you.

 

Free School Meals – The application process for Free School Meals and Uniform Grants is now open. If you follow the link, you can check eligibility for applying. Classes for next year – We are in the process of recruiting for September. Children will be informed during the summer holidays who their teacher is for September 2024 and where the class is situated.

 

Roots Of Empathy– We are on the lookout for two babies to participate in our Roots of Empathy Programme. The programme involves ten baby and mother visits spread throughout the school year. If you have a baby who will be aged between 2 and 4 months old this coming September or if you know of another mother and baby who might be willing to participate please contact the school for further information.

 

School Show –  Copies of this year’s show are available on USB pen drives from the office. Please check schoolbags for pre-ordered copies.

Accelerated Reading – Congratulations to all children who met their Accelerated Reading targets this year. Please keep reading over the summer holidays.

 

New School Year – School reopens for all pupils on Monday 2nd September at 9:00 a.m. Primary 1 pupils are welcome to at 9:30 a.m. on that day.

 

P.E. Kit – Please click HERE to download flyer that provides QR code and details on how to purchase our new P.E. kit for use from September. The kit will hopefully prove beneficial to KS2 pupils and parents although KS1 pupils are also very welcome to purchase any of the different packs available. The kit can be viewed and tried on for size during next week but only by prior appointment. If you are interested please contact the school for times when the school will be open next week (1st -5th July).
