Be prepared for wet weather.  Cross-Country, Gaelic and Soccer players bring boots and trainers.  If you have any concerns or your child has particular medical needs, please contact the school office and bring to the attention of one of the people in charge.

All activities must be pre-booked on the ParentPay App with the exception of Skill School.

School Choir – The school choir will practise during the school day this term.

Primary 1 Miss Wade – Miss Wade’s Parent Teacher meetings will begin Monday 5th – Wednesday 7th February. Parents will be sent out a time tomorrow if they have not already chosen a slot.

Primary 7 – Online admissions forms for Primary 7 transferring into secondary education is now open to all pupils. Parents may come in and discuss the options open to their child with Mr Mc Laughlin. Parents may book a slot on Google Classroom or alternatively call the office for an appointment.

Cross-Country Training – Good Luck to the Cross-Country team who are participating in the St. Patrick’s & St. Brigid’s College race tomorrow. Congratulations to the boys’ and girls’ team who both came in second in the third round of the Flahavan’s Primary School Cup.

Obstructions at the school gates – Please do not obstruct the school gates at any time of the day, dropping off in the morning or picking up at 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. Children and parents are crossings, and buses and cars are trying to exit the school grounds. Parents are reminded once again, if you park up in the school grounds, you must use the proper exit, you must not exit the school using the school entrance. If you are not prepared to wait for the traffic to clear, you should park elsewhere. Thank you.

Medication- No medication should be kept in pupils’ schoolbags. If medication is sent into school, the class teacher must be informed and parents must complete an ‘administration of medication‘ consent form at the school office.

Being well, Doing well – Please do not forget to complete the Being well, Doing well questionnaire.  We want as many parents as possible to complete the questionnaire to help us improve in any way we can in the area of emotional health and wellbeing.  As an incentive, please write in your child’s reading record when you have completed the survey and your child will receive a homework pass!
