COVID-19 Update

Parents are reminded that the school must be contacted if there is a positive case in your household. Please ring 7181 0520 or email info@broadbridgeprimaryschool.com stating your child/ren’s class and a brief outline of the case.
Adults are reminded that they must maintain a social distance at the gates of the school. We would encourage the use of masks at these points due to the large gatherings at any one time!

Ditch the Dark

Children are invited to get creative with their outfits on the journey to school tomorrow. Dress up in bright clothing or decorate your transport. The important message being “Be Bright Be Seen”. Please see attached poster.

Santa Stroll

The Santa Stroll continues next week. Congratulations to all who have participated in the past week. Keep tallying up those days. Remember 15 walks entitled you to a place in the draw for prizes.

Friday 4th December

This was to be a school holiday, it no longer is a school holiday. Sorry to disappoint anyone but all pupils and staff must attend school on this date.

Parent/Teacher Meeting P1-P7

The teachers have been in contact with the majority of parents/guardians over the past few days. If they were unable to contact you this time, a follow up call will take place next week.

Saint Vincent de Paul

Tickets for the £1000 draw have been sent out. (£3 a ticket or 4 for £10!!!). Thanks to all who have sold their tickets and returned the money and stubs. We are delighted with the response to date. If you could please return any unsold tickets to the school on Monday 30th November we can pass them on to other sellers. If your child has a folder these tickets may still be inside it. Anyone requiring additional books please contact Anne in the office. Thank you.

Drop off your letter to Santa!

The Parents & Friends’ Association of Broadbridge Primary School will be hosting a socially distanced “Santa Letter Drop” on Friday 11th December from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Children are invited to come along and drop their Christmas Letter into Santa’s Post-box. Santa will be there to receive the letters and say hello to the children. He may also have some friends with him too! Families can decide to drive down to see Santa or walk down. There will be a brief opportunity to see Santa and say hello. Unfortunately, Santa cannot get too close! We wouldn’t want to ruin Christmas for the whole world!!!!

ParentPay

If you have not already done so, please activate your ParentPay account using the username and password in the letter sent home with your child/ren last week. At present only 57% of accounts have been activated and we need all parents/guardians to activate their account for the system to be successful. If you cannot find this letter, please contact the office and a duplicate will be issued for you. Please note, parents should ONLY be activating their account as the first step to getting the system up and running. Please DO NOT attempt to pay for any school activities eg school meals, football, netball etc as the system is only ready at this stage for account activation.
