  • When there is a positive case in school. The school will always follow the advice given by the PHA.  Every case is unique and at times it can take a lengthy period of time before the PHA makes a decision on the matter.  Once the school is informed of the decision, parents will be contacted immediately.
  • Adults are reminded that they must maintain a social distance at the gates of the school. We would encourage the use of masks at these points due to the large gatherings at any one time!

Reminder Parent/Teacher Meeting P1-P7 – The Parent/Teacher meetings will take place the week beginning Monday 23rd November.  Your child’s teacher will give you a time that the call will be made on the Monday/Tuesday.  If that does not suit they will call you at a later time on the Wednesday evening.  This year the meeting will take place by phone.  The phone number will be withheld.  Parents are allocated ten minutes to talk about their child, please be aware of others waiting to talk to the class teacher.  A face to face meeting will only be available to parents that are required to sign educational documents.  It is important that you talk to the class teacher this term.

Road of Hope – Thank you for all the donations towards the “Road of Hope” appeal.  The money collected has amounted to £671.00.  The charity is delighted with your generosity.

Saint Vincent de Paul – Tickets for the £1000 draw will be ready tomorrow.  In line with every school in the parish, we will be sending one book to every family to sell. (£3 a ticket or 4 for £10!!!)  You are under no obligation to sell these tickets.  If you would rather not sell please return the book to the school office.  Parents that have requested more than one book will have them sent out.  Your help is greatly appreciated.

Journey to Santa! – Children are being encouraged to participate in the Socially Distanced Journey to Santa Challenge.   The challenge begins on the Monday 23rd November and finishes on Friday 18th December.  Make 15 active journeys to school to be in with a chance of winning a prize from Santa’s workshop. Please Click here for additional information.

P3 Accelerated Reading – Primary 3 pupils have now started Accelerated Reading.  Please look out for library books that the children may read with you at home.  Please encourage the children to read their book and then complete the quizzes at school.  More information is contained in Google Classroom.

ParentPay – Your child has received a letter today containing the details needed to activate your ParentPay account.  This letter will include your username and temporary password.  Please login using these details and follow the system instructions to activate your account.  Please add to your email contact list to ensure that emails from ParentPay do not go to your Junk folder as all future ParentPay correspondence will be carried out via email.  The school will be notified once your account has been activated.  We need all parents/guardians to activate their account for this to be successful.
